That reliable source "Sports Direct news" believe that we've entered the race to sign striker Max Kruse from Borussia M'Bach.
    anyone know anything about him?

He got called into the German squad this year. Meanwhile Sherwood has just said Holtby and Capoue could be leaving.

17 appearances for B.M'bach and 8 goals. 25 years old.

I'll be surprised if LH or EC are here after Friday.

Rumours for weeks are that Holtby's agent is whoring him out to anyone possible.

Good player but lots of players do a decent job in foreign leagues and come to the Premier League only to be average, I think he'd be one of them.

Doubt there's anything in it though, I can't see why we'd go back to the Bundesliga for anything other than a superstar given that they've decided Holtby isn't good enough.

The Mirror say that Chadli might be off to Everton, too.

Seriously? First there was talk of selling Holtby to Schalke so they could sell Draxler to Arsenal, now selling Chadli to Everton? What next, Adebayor to Newcastle?

It's rumoured that a deal for berbatov has been agreed for a few days but we've been dragging our heels and aren't committing 100% just yet. Maybe we've got other options were trying for first?

Apparently we've rejected a bid for sigurdsson from a foreign club. Offer was thought to be less than we paid.

It's unlikely he's going to get much game time, so i hope we accept something reasonable, even if it's not what we paid. - to be honest I can't see anyone paying us what he cost us.

I'd rather we cut our losses and keep holtby.

Not sure who I rate more out of Sig and Holtby. Sig is a greater goal threat but Holtby can help dictate a game once in a while which can turn a result in our favour. Both far too inconsistent though.

If the right offers came in for both I'd let them go, though preferably keep one of them until the Summer just in case of any injuries.

I think financially keeping Holtby for now is the better option.

Sig cost us £8m and the more we bench him the further his value will decrease, there's a good chance we could either get our money back or make a minimal loss if we sold him now. Where as Holtby, we can wait 'til the Summer and still make an OK profit.

I'm really not impressed with all of these rumours of players leaving and no replacements being spoken about. Once again, teams surrounding us are strengthening. I really hope Levy has more up his sleeve than just Berbatov.

I think it was inevitable that some players would be leaving/ looking to leave. Our squad, especially the midfield department is really stacked, we probably have more midfielders than any other side in Europe and so while it creates a nice selection headache for the gaffer, eventually some are going to become unhappy with their roles in the team. With this being a WC year, players are desperate to impress, especially in the latter half of the season. Ideally it'd be nice to not sell anyone until the Summer as it's handy having the numbers available but I think we'll likely see 1 or 2 head out the door by or on the 31st.
