Watched the game again on Sky Sports (the stream was utter crap), and that run by Ozil which resulted in him nearly scoring was unreal. Where on earth did he find that pace?
True. Then again we won at Anfield and drew at Old Trafford.......ask Boruc about the Emirates!!!!. We also drew against City.
With all due respect Breconsaint, we are hoping desperately for the title and to win that, in the current climate, we needed to win tonight. Your boys have had some great results and a top 10 finish is good for you. You got a well deserved point and should be pleased, you could have had 3, but I think you'll be the happier of the teams. We are (and should be) disappointed. We needed and expected 3 tonight. We played badly and have most probably relinquished the lead at the top of the league.
Only explanation for that, would be that he is starting to find some form. Hasn't shown much up to now but really grabbed the game today.
Personally I'm massively disappointed. We played you off the park last night for the whole game except 10 minutes after the break. You don't have a divine right to win games, which is what some of your players and fans seem to think. That being said, I hope you learn the lessons from last night, pick yourselves up and win the league. Good luck for the season
Haven't heard anyone say we deserved to win last night, because we didn't. We don't think we have a divine right to win games and I haven't heard any Arsenal player say so. You have to earn the right to play. The Saints were great and well deserving of the point. They probably should have won as was the case when we played at your ground last year on the 1st Jan, it was a similar story. As title challengers though, we should have done better because these are the kinds of games you have to win if you want to stay at the top. Best of luck for the rest of your season. I hope you do well.
Heard a rumour that the team bus arrived late at the ground last night. Lee Mason refused to allow the Arsenal players enough time to warm up. Is this true?
The BBC definitely said your bus was stuck in heavy traffic, but I don't know when it finally arrived.
I also heard on the Radio 5 that the bus was stuck in traffic, and this was 20mins to kick-off. Don't know if that affected the boys.
Anyway some good news is that Flamini has only been banned for 3 matches, not 4 as first thought. Will make it back in time for the FA cup tie against Pool.
