A lot of those guests (paranoia might suggest the majority) could just be rival club members of this forum (e.g. matth?). I've never understood that. This is an internet forum, why be ashamed of your team? <ok>

Ming, didn't have much to do, but what he had to do, he did well, only minus mark was his distribution..
Flanno, maybe a bit early to say this, but the new Carra? limited technically but gives it his all, all the time, can't ask for more than that!
Skrtel, I'll admit it, I've always had a soft spot for Ninja, he's been by far our best CD this year..
Toure, Better today, kept it simple.
Aly, Best not to say anything at all...
    Hendo, was everywhere...
Stevie, immense, however I just hope this wasn't a "derby" boost in performance, would like to see the same level against West Brom!
Ford, best game so far, even better than his show against Newcastle away last year, got stuck in, but played the #10 role superbly!
Sterling, the boy is now getting to a stage where he's fast becoming undroppable, his all round game, awareness, tracking back, was outstanding, one reason Baines was has quite as he was today!
Suarez, what can you say that we haven't already said for the last few years...
Sturridge, at time clinical at times wasteful, still needs to pick the right pass at the right time but that's nit picking..

Subs, can't be arsed to mark them, just give yourselves a pat on the back!

    #wifesintroubletonight!

On a separate note this is the 4th quarter where we have had + growth which is the first time this has happened since the recession began <ok>

Naturally I put this down to our teams good performances <ok>

A great night, but one of my highlights was Owen describing aly going forward as awful truly awful on the ball. Then Aly shanks the ball out for no reason , made me laugh.

My favourite Owenism tonight was when he was talking about Baines signing a new contract and how it's easy for players to go to top clubs when there's alot of interest in them, but good for Baines choosing to stay at Everton. <laugh>

He did try with "top top clubs" so are everton a "top club" or just a club. I thought it was one of owens better performances. I am looking forward to enrique coming back so he can remind us over and over again how ****e a left winger he is.

Perhaps his leaving to RM and the us wiining the CL? Perhaps not. I actually respect Baines for his actions. He is genuinely wanted as he is a quality player but his dedication is superb. Loads of respect. He is the man <laugh>

    Life is good again

Enjoyed that....especially the joyous choruses of "can we play you every week", "are you Moysey in disguise" and "you're just a thin Spanish waiter" :D

The word tit was invented for Owen. I try my best not to listen to him. In a rather raucous pub environment that's mercifully quite easy, but I did think I heard him liken Cissy to our Djimi, and that's got to be the worst condemnation imaginable.

    just get it to suarez.

my blue print form the arsenal thread (4-5-1) came true last night. our speed on the break was great... gerrard also played sweeper half the time between the two cbs so that might have been not so crazy an idea.

hell gerrard even got a headed goal like a good cb... who remembers the last one of those eh?

I think it was just bad timing as he had just been bollocked by Suarez and then the board goes up and he's off!

Personally, I thought he did the right thing to stop his run as the pass didn't look on to Suarez BUT Coutinho was right there for the lay off when he had his back to goal!!
