Some meanings of old bean. I like to think that Mr Gull is using it in a fuzzy/warm way. 1. An affectionate form of address, usually used in a greeting and almost universally said by a man to another man. 2. Term of endearment used by men when addressing an old friend, emphasising that you are pleased to see him. It is absolutely neutral, and if anything a bit fuzzy warm. 3. Old Bean is the (ahem letâs use the grown up proper term eh fellas) clitoris of an older lady, usually a pensioner. 4. An old man/woman over the age of about 60 who is mean.
fadge died off circa early-80s if memory serves me correctly.. was highly amused to see it again.. prefer minge to gash though.. gash sounds rougher..
The best descriptor I ever heard was from a school friend who described his sister as having a 'mini box'. It still conjures up a weird image to this day...
