Just seen Flamini's red card. Dived in 2 footed... win's the ball but everyone knows you can't jump in like that. Silly tackle

    Wenger on the red card.

"If a 2 footed tackle is a red card then I have no complaints. But I'm not a specialist so can't tell you if that is the rule."

Erm.... Don't think you really need to be a specialist? And if your a manager of a football team with over 20 years experience, I'd bloody hope you knew the rules <laugh>

Over the last 2 seasons we've had an excellent run of form which has seen us grab our place in the top 4. Assuming we lost today, how would 1 bad result= collapse? Some of you are really grasping at straws, should have we declared Liverpool to be collapsing after drawing at home to Villa?

You are very right there. The last couple of seasons you have been knocked out of the champions league after a 2nd leg fightback and gone on to good league runs.

Full of ****, you "grab" 4th every season and win the Emirates Cup, all your grabbing does is pay your owners fat bonus's, we can look back at 2005 with pride and say without it doesn't feel as bad as for those who have never had the pleasure, but you Arsenal fans revel in it.<laugh>

Arsenal fans and Arsene are contented with no silverware as long as the top 4 and Emirates Cup are attained every season.<laugh>

Great win last night. Thanks god BR didn't send us out as a 4-4-2 and am still a little perplexed why we didn't set up like that versus Villa. Anyway, great result, great performance.

Now to look at tonight's game. All 3 results could help us. A spurs win would see us close the gap on the top after Arsenal's game yesterday, A City win would give us a real cushion, breathing space should we screw up again (and we will, everyone will)....A draw allows for a bit of both but Spurs will be one result away from overtaking us. So what's it to be Spurs win, loss or draw?

Just hoping for a good game but a draw is probably the best as it does neither team any good <ok>

A draw is going to be good for us. Chelsea also recording a draw or West Ham winning.<ok>

I went for a draw but feel this way also. So a draw or a City win and I'll be happy <ok>

Not that I expect this to happen... but with results going the right way. Arsenal having to play us... City and Chelsea having to play each other (points to be dropped by one or both)... we stand a reasonable chance of being within 3 points of the top again in the next fortnight.

City draw against Chelsea and Spurs- would go a long way to helping this happen... a win is also needed against the arse at home.
