Dani Osvaldo has just retweeted 4 photos of Jose Fonte. Awkward.

Great game and a good result. We dominated first half and could have scored more than one goal, we made Arsenal look average. But we have this bad habit of letting opponents back in the game, it's a tad annoying. We showed great spirit to come back immediately, though.

Luke Shaw played a superb game, his crossing was accurate and dangerous. And Cork, what a wonderful player! So intelligent, never panics, always has a perfect solution. Schneiderlin improved on recent performances. Lallana was outstanding once again.

Yoshida was solid. Centre backs can't take much blame for the goals. If anything, we occasionaly defended badly as a unit, we lacked coordination.

Gallagher unfortunately missed a sitter, but had a good game, showed much promise.

Maybe he's actually sorry and happy for his teammate?

Agree with all of this. Cork was flawless, Schneiderlin back to his terrier-like best, and Gallagher showed good energy and some nice touches. Looks to have something about him for sure.

Seems odd to only retweet pictures featuring Fonte, he's not retweeted or posted anything since half-time. Maybe he is.

I'm guessing it's his way of showing things are cool between them. Or at least he wants things to be cool between them.

Fantastic result. Set's us up nicely for the next run of fixtures where we need to be picking up 3 points more regularly again.

I thinks its his way of supporting the team. He maybe under orders not to say anything but in effect has tweeted his support. I think he feels guilty, as he should do but maybe he isn't a lost cause and will turn it all around given another chance.

Tonight Southampton sadly didn't get enough players in the box but dominated possession and made Arsenal look average. More than I expected tonight :).

Excited by Gallagher as a prospect - looked to have plenty of power, and not afraid to run with the ball at his feet as well as very good at getting a shot away under pressure. He did look very very raw though, and faded out of the game after a bright opening unfortunately; I expect he's really being groomed to be an effective player next season, but the signs are that he could be just that.

Ha, yeah, preparing his defense for a GBH charge perhaps.

Honestly I don't think Osvaldo's a bad guy, he's just clearly got a problem with controlling his temper.

Now I know Tony Pullis has been criticised for his style but surely he has proved he is a good manager - Palace could actually stay up. Fulham and Cardiff looked doomed.

He should come back and take his temper out on the oppositions goal by banging them in.

Hull aren't looking too good either, no goals since that 6-0 win.

Not to mention West Ham. There is a danger that the current bottom 4 could be cut adrift.

You guys have got to get to grips with Sopcast. It is a simple little program that lets you watch most (not all) Saints games in HD quality. You just download it, the use wysiwyg to get the link and load it up.

I watched the whole game in HD.

Cork MOTM for me. The guys is playing brilliantly and Adam yet again was brilliant. Seems Claridge agrees with me. At the moment<---- on current form<----- he is one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe. On Current Form.

Gallacher had a great game and look the real deal to me.

On the Red card when the ref issued a red I couldn't believe it. Thought it was going to be a yellow but the replay left no doubt. 2 feet a foot off the ground with studs showing.

Overlall another great performance and something to build on over the next couple of weeks.
