Well there you go, I've been saying for the past few weeks, you can't keep expecting to go missing for 45 minutes and get 3 points, and today that finally happens. If we played like we did in the 2nd half, we would have most likely won, but you don't show up in the first half, this is what happens. 2 points dropped.
Really think we had the momentum to win this, and then out of nowhere that imbecilic challenge by Flamini...
Jeez, where did you start with that. -Shocking first half, the worst of the season by a mile. -Great start to the second and a great response which shows our excellent mentally this season, because I have no doubts that we would have a lost a game like this last season. -Flamini the moron killed any hopes of us going on to win it with that stupid tackle. All in all, I would take the point and get the **** out of there.
Not happy with the first half. We looked good in the 2nd for the win then Flamini decides to be an idiot and **** up the game for us.
Phew, that was tense. Overall I'm pleased to come away with a point but that game could have gone either way in the second half. Seeing as we were down to ten men for the last ten minutes too, it's a decent point.
Wow - came back on here for this match and the negativity is just relentless - probably will not be back again on match day - nasty place for an Arsenal fan to be.
We needed to win today, we've got some seriously tough games coming up, we needed to maximise on our opportunities. No offence to Southampton, but they aren't Liverpool or ManUre.
I think we could easily staged a final assault if we had 11 men, they put in so much energy into that first half and were always going to tire towards the end. But you can't counter for a brain fart like the one Flamini had.
Probably will be in 3rd by the end of tomorrow...can't see the silly spuds getting anything against City and West Ham are useless so Chelski have a home banker. Disappointing overall performance but will take point. That's all I'll take though.
We're talking about West Ham here, one of the most useless teams in the league. You ****ers better take some points off Mancity.
