Not sure, judging by this season there's at least a 50% chance we completely capitulate. Fingers crossed we can improve!
Hooper is the only bright point so far. Though ruuddy has made some good saves. Our lack of control in the midfield is dreadful. When Newcastle attack fer and Johnson just sit on the 18 yard box making it impossible to break from the centre.
Spot on, in all counts, but it all boils down to lacking an extra midfielder in place of the striker. I think Pilks has looked like our best outlet going forward, but as you say very sloppy in possession. Everyone just seems to get shrugged off the ball by Ameobi.
Tettey on for RvW for me, doubt we'll see it though as a "negative substitution" won't go down well with the crowd. Wouldn't mind seeing Redmond replace Snodgrass either, to see if we can worry them a bit with some more pace.
Just been reported that Snodgrass reacted to the crowd while trudging off, although it was talk*****. If that's true, take him off, he's been poor anyway.
