so even Green managed to describe that accurately so in the light of that miracle i predict a Cissokho hatrick in second half
Commentator just said Everton fans came into this game feeling they had their best chance in years to win at Anfield. That's the case every season before the Anfield derby according to Everton fans
Alcaraz is having a mare. Every time he shuts his eyes in bed tonight he will see Sturridge and Suarez , and wake up in a cold sweat.
Sterling showing good defensive work tracking Baines' run. I reckon he could quite easily do a "Jordi Alba" and go from a small quick winger to an attacking full back
buzzing now...all going lfc's way. two nice goals and rank defensive line form everton. DEEEEEEELIGHTED
at last a card, that must be the 10th time Suarez has been brought down, not the worst tackle by Barry. I think Barry was just the latest to foul Suarez so a point had to be made.
Looked like a bit od a pathetic dive from Sterling for me after seeing that he wasn't getting on the end of the ball. Barry unlucky to be booked for that, but his previous 3 tackles deserve a yellow when adding them together.
Working well. Whether it'll have the same energy and desire against a "lesser" team remains to be seen. But this is working so far, good call Brendan.
Can't complain at that half. Just need to hit them with a quick goal in the second half and the fight will go from them. There is an advantage in modern derby games in that there are so many foreign players in each team that if one team goes well clear the other just go through the motions and try to keep the score respectable. In the old days it would get nasty and every ball would be fought for as if it was still 1-0.
