LFCs' future will not be determined by the next 72 hours or 72 weeks. LFC will be LFC if no new player arrives.

You may not like the decisions our owners and the club management have made but if you are going to continue supporting the club then you are going to have to live with them. You can rant and you can rave but you are not going to change what happens. Only history will show if they made the right decisions, got lucky or if fate is going to be unkind. At least you should be realistic about things as its not your money you want the club to throw about.

Well, yes it is my money. I invest my money in untold franchised goods, mostly for the kids, tickets, travelling, sky....and so on. I'm a fully paid up customer. Therefor I reserve the right to voice my opinion on how the club is being run and what I'd like them to do.

Realistically, i know that it's pointless and even if they run the club into the ground, it'll still be my club but why can't we all have a voice? If i'm honest, if it wasn't for this side of football, the (differing) opinions, the banter, the speculation, the armchair managers and more recently the armchair owners (guilty!), it'd be half the sport it is.

So, if the club don't perform as I'd like on and off the pitch, I reserve the right to be furious <ok>

It's a forum, surely the idea is to voice our opinions about all things LFC? there are heaps of things we debate about our club that we have absolutely no say in, should we give up talking about line-ups too since we have no say in how they are selected? FSG are by no means H&G but are you saying we should have all been silent when H&G were in charge and just accept?

Yes in exactly the same way that you may be a fully paid up customer of Ford or Apple. LFC haven't been a club that belongs to its members for decades. Can't stop you being furious but ultimately all that fury will be in vain - others with different perspectives and opinions will make the actual decision.

Nobody is arguing that you shouldn't voice your opinions. Just don't present them as fact and not expect to be challenged that's all.

Nothing like any consumer product though is it? If I get furious with Apple, I stop buying their products. You can't do that with football (unless you support Utd or Chelsea <laugh>) It's a longer term thing....over generations, passion will be lost and support base will shrink. By this time, the current owners will have made their money and got out.

In any event, what I'm saying is that I like the fact that I (and countless others) still have the passion to get angry or upset or whatever.....despite it being in vain. Of course it's in vain, of course my opinion counts more than yours......it's what makes football great! It's all part and parcel of supporting a football team. Any team.

I cant help feeling Utd are still going to sneak the champs league spot somehow.

If we lose tonight John Henry better sign some players before the deadline or he should go hide in a corner until the season is over and hope we get top 4 somehow.

I don't know how you transcribe the blame. I'm sure Henry himself isn't sitting down talking to teams- however you better believe he passes down some very strict guidelines on how much can be spent.

I'm just saying if I was John Henry I wouldn't log into my twitter account for a couple of months if we lose tonight <laugh>

Rightly or wrongly he's going to get a lot of stick because he's the figurehead of FSG.

I wasn't referring to me personally giving him stick, just a lot of our fans on the internet are.
