This merely demonstrates that Sunderland don't create enough, all of the goal scoring returns are terrible.

OLM highlighted the problem. The best striker at Sunderland has 3 in 17, followed by 2 in 19, then Altidore with 1 in 20 (How many of those appearances have been from the bench?) It's ****, you're right. But the fact he has scored goals everywhere else and at international level suggests the problem is not with the player. Then you look at his team mates who play as strikers, they have similar records - then the issue is with creating chances.

We'll have to disagree on this one mate.

I might be proved wrong but as it stands I just don't think he'll ever cut it in the PL.

He's simply not good enough for the Premier League, he's now scored two goals in 48 Premier League games.

He was a flop in Spain, a flop in Turkey and a flop in England, he should go back to Holland, or Scotland, or the MLS.

He's actually only started 16 games for us and 13 for Sunderland - the rest as substitute.

He only played 6 games for Buraspor plus 6 sub appearances scoring once, so better than some of our strikers.

Overall still a goal ratio of nearly 1 in 3.

You do know substitutes are allowed to score too?

I watched almost every game he played for us and he was ****, I've watched a few Sunderland games this season and he still looks ****, he'll never get another deal in any decent league.

    TWT

In his defence our team in our last PL stint and the current Sunderland team are probably as bad as it gets.

Thanks, however I've just been given 4 by a mate who's head of one of the referee's associations.
They're in the neutral section but it's a start.

If I can get some Sunderland I'll be able to give these away and make someone day <ok>

Heard they were switching it to Lords, the scoreboard there is more suitable.

I think there's more chance of Bob Stokoe running onto the pitch at the end than you lot beating Manchester Hunter

... the Hull Tigers' inexorable slide towards the drop zone.

Second half of the season, all your relegation rivals to play away and all the big boys at home... with Brucey in charge <yikes>. A recipe for disaster.
