I heard on SSN that the Mirror ran an article on 13 players to be axed by Kenny but when I searched for the article it had been withdrawn. Any one know who the 13 players are?

Some of those wages are rediculous if true. Joe cole, Javanovic and Maxi all on deals over £100k a week!
Don't agree with the Agger comment, he is young enough to recover from injury and play for years. He's also class.
I agree that Agger is class, but I have my doubts whether he can fully get over those injury problems. I'd be quite happy to be wrong on this.
I'm a big fan of Agger (when fit) fingers crossed he recovers. I don't think he'll be sold though, who would buy him with the injury problems he's had anyway. I say keep hold of him and get the medics to sort him out.
This is just 1 journos opinion presented as fact. It is common knowledge that a number of players will be released this summer and the prime candidates have been identified on this forum. However, to try and present this as a crisis for the club is just silly. If the worst came to the worst we could merely pay these players off or release them on a 'free'' - cutting costs in the long term is as useful as gaining a transfer fee.
If the wages in that article are true, that is unbelievable. That is a complete waste of money on our part. Needs sorting out quickly. The money saved could be re-invested properly.
