In my youth I worked on a camp site in Majorca. One year a middle aged Scottish couple got to know a similar Swedish couple. To cut a long story short, when they got home the Scottish couple sent the Swedes a haggis. The Swedish couple weren't impressed. The label said "haggis pudding" so the Swedes ate it with custard, as they believed the British always had custard with puddings.

An environmentalist too. He certainly wrote & co-wrote some memorable songs - We Shall Overcome, Turn Turn Turn, Where Have All The Flowers Gone? etc. In the early 60's he toured Australia and his children's song Little Boxes was so popular that it sparked Aussie interest in Folk Music - probably still the most popular genre there today. A sad loss...
