28/01/2014 By David McIntyre QPR have made Bobby Zamora available to other clubs. A number of Championship sides have been made aware that Rangers would be prepared to offload the 33-year-old striker before Fridayâs transfer deadline. Zamora, whose contract expires in the summer, recently returned following knee surgery but has been hampered by a hip condition for some time. He has made only 34 league starts since a big-money move from Fulham two years ago. âIf he wanted to move I wouldnât stand in Bobbyâs way,â said Rangers manager Harry Redknapp. âThe same goes for other lads who arenât playing. You donât want to keep unhappy lads around. âHeâs a proven player and Iâd be happy to keep him. Weâll just see what happens.â Hopefully, this means we have someone lined up.
why on earth would someone take him before his contract expires? and he is still not fit! Another bullshit story IMO
If he wanted to move I wouldn’t stand in Bobby’s way, understatement of the year! It would save us a million in wages if he went.
Maybe at League 1 level he might deliver with slower defences but I can't see why anyone would take the risk on him??
