minger flanno turtle kolo cissy waheem stevie g hendo moses (no nickname righly) gnasher studge the team is rather obvious and the issues are too... at least allen won't be on to miss a sitte rthen...
why is moses getting game time ahead of ibe when he has shown **** all, at least give the youngsters a a chance to prove themselves. ie brendan said he was impressed by flanno,we have more youth who are just as committed who deserve a chance. and dont give me the age and not ready waffle, i reckon he could still do a job better than moses. i might come out of retirement if i keep seeing moses in our line up, its a ****ing farce!
TBF, it looked that way first 15 of last meeting but with a little support Flanno dealt well with him the rest of that match. Suppose we'll see if it was an adrenaline fuelled one off.
Liverpool v Everton Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho (hamstring) is still two to three weeks away from fitness while Jon Flanagan is set to start after making his comeback as a substitute at the weekend after a month out. Everton manager Roberto Martinez will make a late call on whether to include loan signing Lacina Traore in his squad. Doubts persist over defensive quartet Phil Jagielka, Sylvain Distin, Antolin Alcaraz and Seamus Coleman.
We'll lose badly! 4-2-3-1 Flan - Skerts - Toure - Cissy (Very weak back 4) Gerrard - Hendo (both sitting relatively deep to protect the back 4) Sterling - Sturridge - Coutinho (or Sterling - Coutinho - Moses) Suarez Fact is our best football has been played with one striker. Something has to give!
Yeah, they can switch it about and the 'attacking four' have a bit of everything about them. Am convinced that if we are too attacking we will lose.
BR needs to set a custom formation with Sterling's attacking #workrate low and his defensive #workrate high to cover RB
Who covers LB? Can't see either Sturridge or Coutinho doing that. Moses may give BR that option.....would mean that one of the former two missing out.
It's the kind of game that I really stop caring about who plays where, each and every player needs to step up and get us 3 points. Determination will have more of an affect than tactics in this game.
If we play 4-4-2 we will be murdered. EFC may have some injuries, but they can still control the game if we let them and 4-4-2 will be playing straight into their hands, just like when we played 3 at the back against Arsenal
"Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will leave it to the last minute to assess whether Wales midfielder Joe Allen, 23, is fit enough to face Everton on Tuesday." I think Brendan needs to go to specsavers, please don't start Allen.
I agree but like I mentioned in another thread, the players attitude will win this not the formation or tactics.
