Inler definitely a DM, would be good buy especially if the rumoured 7m correct. however wouldn't want to see agger go, still our best defensive player.
And he loves us, to many foreign players dont give a **** but hes loves LFC Which in turn makes him want to win more and therefore performs better Johnson take note you absolute ****
Ince? It's a position we're not desperate for and a player we've already let go once. Not impressed if he comes back. Even for next to nothing. Questionable attitude from all accounts if they are to be believed and his dad doesn't help.
I doubt this very much. The most likely would be Inler but it'd likely require us letting go of our best CB. As for trying hard. Let's see who they sign. If it's nobody, I don't care about trying hard....they'd of been busy fools!
we may just be trying to generate a bit of interest for Ince to spark a bid from someone. after all don't we get 40% of his sell-on fee or something? So if he leaves in the summer for nothing that's money we've missed out on
Looks like the Salah deal was more of a kick in the teeth for BR than initially thought. Raises some serious doubts about us yet again unfortunately. Firstly why was this lad our main target given our issues in other positions and why do we keep missing out on our main targets?
We want top draw players for bottom draw prices and wages. Any player where there's a demand, we'll miss out
Spoke to my mate last night. We're not close to signing anyone, but we're still trying. Cissokho to start tonight. Likely formation 4 - 4 - 2.
i didnt see the logic in salah any way. we want a player to come in and Sterling and ibe to be our back ups, any one reckon salah would have done that? doubtful personally, so not only was it a waste of time pursuing, he would not have improved the team, squad yes, but we shouldn't be looking for ruddy squad players. i am hoping this is all smoke and we uncover a ruddy good player, or the club is taking a big gamble on banking on us getting top 4 with what we have, which may or may not pay off, time will tell, but if it does, we will have some serious cash to invest in the summer then.
Whilst I'm not fussed at missing out on Salah, like others have said, he's a good player but not playing in the position of need for us. However, if what is agent says is correct (no reason to believe him but then again with our recent history of transfer dealings could be true), then a top down review of our "transfer committee" needs to be held!
I don't understand any of the winger links tbh. It's not a priority imo. I am also hoping it's all smoke and mirrors....really hoping! Whatever happens, win tonight and spuds losing to City and we have a 3 point cushion. Fantastic opportunity to give us some breathing space! Even better if Cardiff take points from Utd (possible).
Not just us.. but I don't see the logic of waiting until the last minute.. Summer window closed end of August, we had 4 months to continue to review/scout targets and setup a deal, this is piss poor!
maybe the plan really was to loan Sterling out, remember that rumour a month ago about loan to Swansea?
Just saying the usual dilly-dallying, umming and errring... Agent quoted to have said "“It was a long and fair negotiation with Liverpool, but it lasted two-and-a-half months - too long,” #notaslamdunkunlessweretalkingdonuts
working down the list.... switching targets... plans go away new ones come up. if we play 4-4-2 tonight we'll lose. oh we've a chance if their cbs are f'd but we'll be over run in midfield
I agree that 4-4-2 would be a nightmare. If BR does this he's either a very brave man or an idiot. Soon find out I guess!
Not sure if it has been mentioned but Salah's agent has come out and criticised us saying we dithered about for 2 and a half months. Doesn't surprise me
