Because he's a quality keeper. He has made a few mistakes but some of the saves he's made have been world class.
Think there was a bit more to the game than that... quite like the Saints and hope you do well this season. Gonna put the blinkers on and say we'll win tomorrow though. Won't be an easy match but we'll manage it.
We need to lose, with Giroud having a horror show, it's the only way le useless ****er will sign anyone.
I'm going to say it now. You're not an Arsenal fan. So **** you and your attention desiring emo bullshit.
I'm an Arsenal fan, not an Arsene fan. I'm acting in ARSENAL's interests, not Arsene's. When we go trophyless at the end of the season, you ****ers should be saying "Gee, we really should have listened to Kyle, because as usual, he was right." Instead, you'll be saying "Golly, we came close, but who cares that we haven't done a thing again this season, at least we have Arsene on a new deal, and a nice bank balance" You fools seem to believe that success is overrated, i'd bankrupt the club if it meant we'd win something meaningful, because we're Arsenal, and we're supposed to be winners.
As an outsider (LFC fan) I have to say I like Wenger as a manager. There were a few of you who would have sacked him prior to this season, and look where you are now! Arsenal are playing well and you are, with Chelsea, the only legitimate title challengers to the champions elect (City). He constantly keeps you Europe and, if you sack/replace him, you very well might regret it. There are myriad ecamples of this in the premiershp and other leagues. HSF: there's more to football than trophies. Some fans might wind you up about Arsenal's lack of silverware -- WUMs, nothing more, nothing less! -- but you're there or thereabouts and that means something. You'll win a trophy soon, I have no doubt. Be positive; you have a lot to be thankful for. Just my opinion, but I'm being hinest. Good luck for the rest of the season Gunners.
He is the same deluded fool who said he'd rather the club get relegated just so we could spend ****ing idiot.
No, i wanted us relegated to get rid of Arsene and all the plastic hangers on like you. Once upon a time we were a real football club with real passionate fans, not silly plastic yanks like you.
Now he's bringing nationality into this as well. wow... Wenger is the best thing that ever happened to the club. If we lose him we'll lose multiple players who he persuaded to come, not to mention one Mesut Ozil. I'd rather we keep him and get rid of doom mongers like you at the club.
a) i don't think spending now would bankrupt the club and give "no more Arsenal." b) are Arsenal more or less likely to win something with a better striker up front? c) they're currently top of the league, so is it necessary to change a winning team? d) any new striker will take time to bed in, and the new games may come around too soon for them. the start of January was the time to spend, not now. Wenger, if he is to buy, has left it late, again. The club are going in the right direction, absolutely, but there is still work to be done. I, as many others, will be extremely surprised if Arsenal win the league this season. They do have a chance, but it's a slim one, despite being top right now.
Only one team can win the league, so it doesn't follow that fans of all those clubs that don't should be calling for the manager's head like Kyle. As long as we're competing and giving it our best shot, as we are currently then you can't ask for much more. All of this crap about 'we're Arsenal we should be winning' is just meaningless soundbite BS designed to try and give the doom mongers some legitimacy because they are running out of reasons to hate Wenger.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Kos, Monreal; Flamini, Arteta; Gnabry, Ozil, Cazorla; Giroud Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Jenkinson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Podolski, Bendtner. Two DM's seems a bit negative, but with Wilshere and Ramsey out, we had little choice, I guess. As expected, Gnabry starts again, with Pod on the bench.
Southampton: Boruc, Chambers, Fonte, Yoshida, Shaw, Cork, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana (c), Rodriguez, Gallagher. Subs: K. Davis (GK), Clyne, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Hooiveld, Isgrove.
