Seems it's my role to get the discussions going! On the back of an impressive 2-0 victory at home to Reading, we face the long midweek trip to Yorkshire. Tough game this, McCormack has had a fantastic season to date. If we're going to make the play offs, 6th place is looking increasingly like the only way in. Top 5 I think will remain from here on in, especially with Forest strengthening however the order may well change. I think we'll back up our home win with a decent 1-1 point on the road. Will be a hard game, however I feel we can get something out of the game here.
The typical result would be a defeat, but i keep getting proved wrong, so i'll keep my thoughts to myself - actually, i wont...2-0 Leeds, and we'll miss another penalty.
After seeing SHunt's goal celebrations when somebody else score, I dread to think what might happen if this comes true!
I'm always nervous playing a team in such bad form. I didn't realise Leeds have lost 5 on the bounce. Hope it's not another Millwall....
If we are positive we can get something out of this game, like we did second half on Saturday, especially if we again attack on both flanks, as Hunt and Anderson did. The lack of pace worries me to some extent, and its interesting to note, that if MM brings the new man in at right back, then plays Chambers as the right sided central defender, and moves Berra to his correct position of a left sided central defender, then everything on paper looks perfectly balanced. Tommy Smith has looked a bit jaded recently, and it could be that Mick might consider dropping him, or resting him, call it what you like, or he could be his way of keeping the defence on their toes with genuine competition, can't really comment on the new chap, if I've seen him play I don't recall, but hopefully he has pace
