What's happening to our pole in goal this year? It was all in the papers that he's said he's number one or out, and with the immanent arrival of De Gea, where has that left him?

I'm just posting this because I haven't read anything for ages and yes.... I googled his name.

If he would be happy being 2nd or 3rd choice I would say keep him. I suspect if an offer comes in he will want to go though

I would assume at this point that he won't go until after our new number 1 arrives. As likely as it is that De Gea will be signing early July, the deal isn't done until then and as we all know, anything can happen. I would assume we have a backup plan, ie Stekelenburg, but Fergie won't be so hasty as to leave us with only 1 experienced keeper in Lidegaard even though the odds are for us getting another within a month.

and that's a very loose example of experience aswell. I think you're right, but i wonder whether Rene Adler's release clause is still active?

Man Utd are not in for any other keeper but De Gea. Utd believe the deal is sown up after De Gea changes agents. The deal will be made official on July 1st, Utd have targeted De Gea because we believe he is a copy of VDS. They call him Van Der Gea in Madrid and he is very talented. The deal is sown up and there is no top team which will bid for him as every top team has top keepers. Madric-Cas, City-Hart, Barca- Valdes, Chelsea-Chech. Inter-Cesar. The opportunity of becoming number 1 for De Gea is too big to be turned down at a club like Utd. Mendes is a super agent and will reap the rewards from this deal. One thing for sure is Kutscshak won't be made number 1.
