I am told about another Hull City match fact. They have yet to win a Premier League match in January.

I reckon we will win 1-0, jelavic and long should give everyone a lift. Very important that the midfield don't go missing like they did at norwich. Also have some decent options off the bench with Brady, Sagbo and fryatt likely to not start. Thankfully Kevin Phillips wont be playing :)

When palace beat us tomorrow they'll be level on points. We really need to sort our away form out because the home games ain't getting any easier. All of a sudden life doesn't look so rosey and comfortable.

I just hope Long and Jelavic live up to their cost, we can't afford to lose that gamble.

    2-2 and 4th on MOTD

    Guédioura and Puncheon for Palace.
    Jelavic and Livermore for Hull.

Yep we need to win the midfield battle. We've got the attacking players to hurt them but too often we don't dominate the midfield battle and get the team forward. Norwich was a good example of this. Huddlestone can hurt teams when he has the ball, but we need to get him on the ball with people in front of him to pass to. We can't stay on the back foot all game like we did at Norwich.

He was one of the best players to play at the KP last season. Totally ran the game and they won it 2-1 in second gear.

He's a player I want us to look at if we replace Palace in the PL next season.

No, but our away games are. We've played all our "hard" away games, hence the **** record. Yet we've played all our "easy" home games, hence our decent record.

We couldn't surely play as bad as we did against Norwich. Palace are the lowest scorers at home in the EPL whilst we have scored a mere 4 in 10 games away (not including the 3 against the Toon). This game would have 0-0 written all over it except for the fact that we are blooding our new attacking duo. I think we might just nick this by the only goal in the game.
    Palace 0 v Tigers 1.

Well with Jelovich and Long in Front, and hopefully Fryatt on the Bench to relieve around the 70 minute mark we should look frightful to Palace :)

I agree with you Laurie. The second half shambles at Norwich will I hope be the low point of our season. Thudd will I hope be reenergized, even without his hair, Elmo will be rested, and hopefully Brady and Quinn will get some playing time and bring the creativity that they showed at Southend. And then theres Boyd to provide energy when needed. Bruce is going to have a hard time picking his MF five but I like his options.

This will also be our first opportunity to see how well our new strike force combine. I'm hopeful they will be effective against a strong Palace defence .

All in all I like our chances for a 2-0 win.

A tough match for both clubs but after we fluffed it @ Norwich i am expecting something similar to what happened after we lost @ home to Palace. 3-1 Hull City win imo tonight.

Interesting that Palace played 8 of there PL starting 11 @ Wigan so tired legs maybe to our advatange. Is Bolasie injured or just rested @ Wigan and will be return tonight ? Twt.
