I thought he was decent at Swansea, great prospect, loads of time to develop too.

he has potential defiantley, he made the same mistake as Johnno in terms of leaving for man city. Should have stayed at swansea for the football. Too many players throw they're careers away rotting at so called 'Big clubs'

Its a fair point, he just seems like a spoilt little boy at the moment, throwing his toys around because daddys gone.

24 now mate and with his lack of playing of time recently his development will have really stalled. Be better off going for Tom Ince, or focusing on the younger wingers we have

Would be a good addition, nothing too special, but still good. Only added him as we've supposedly been given permission to speak to him

Now we have (it seems) Scocco, this lad would be a massive signing. A real character (****ing nutter) but who would bring flair, excitement and a fair bit of razzmatazz to the club.

I know very little about this lad, but everyone seems to be impressed by him, lets hope we get him

he won't peak until he's about 29. He's got about 5 years until his development halts and begins to decline. He's only had a two and a half month injury in his entire playing career, hardly development hindering.

I would take the above or just: Benega, Scocco, Bridcutt

Those three would make a massive difference to our side.

Can I ask a serious question? Can someone tell me why we are targeting Bridcutt? I've just had a look at his record, I don't know if the stats are reliable, but for a midfielder his goals and assists seem pretty poor. In my opinion, we need creativity and/or goal scoring and he would seem to offer neither!!!

He's excelled under Poyet playing this system. Gus rates him and thinks he'll help us in the long and short term. That's good enough for me like. He is a holding midfielder you know so Goals and Assists probably aren't the best stats to judge him on.

Fair enough. In Gus we trust, but we really like to see us linked with some attacking options!!!

Me too fella. the link with the lad who injured himself, that Braga fella and the link to Ince surgests an attacking midfielder is a priority for this window. Just hope we can manage to bring someone in. Scocco is all but confirmed so we have a striker sorted.

Lad that's really impressed me this season is Sebastian Corchia, Froggy right back, looks like a real footballer, quick and good on the ball, I reckon he will go on to become one of the very best wing backs in Europe over next 2-3 years.

If I was picking one single player though, like we say that could be a realistic possibility, that would be Borja Valero of Fiorentina.

Lad flopped at WBA a few years back, went back to Spain with Mallorca & Villareal, and is now a seriously top end holding midfielder with attacking ability.

Wins balls, passes, shoots, dominates games & leads the team, lad is ****ing excellent.

He & Ki could interchange and the balance would be perfect for the rest of the midfield, lad has been outrageously good at times this season.

Quality player & shout this, with AJ in form the 2 of them could be a nightmare for defences, giving space through the middle.
