Glory: Not watched it for years but I rememebered it was very good, however I was unsure if it would stand the test of time. I have to say it does, well worth another watch.
Inside LLewyn Davis - I think this will divide opinion, I enjoyed it a clever film that captures a change in the music industry.
Looking forward to this one . The Coen brothers can do no wrong imo . Although I did watch A serious man for the first time the other night and I'm still trying to decide what it was about .
The Constant Gardener a film based on a book by John Le Carre, not bad the film pretty much kept to the books storyline.
Another film I watched over the weekend, which was on a DVD I rented from the local library, well it was more of a TV series starring Tom Selleck, Jesse Stone Night Passage, both the books and the series are brilliant.
Absolutely, not sure what is so shocking, the fact that I rented from a library or the substance of the film, or both. Went to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy at the pics and its not a patch on the BBC TV series, oh I have that on DVD now along with Smiley's People, and many of Le Carre's books.
Watched Prisoners over weekend and thought it was very good with great cast especially Hugh Jackman's part. For the first 15mins of it I thought I was watching a film set in the 70/80s till they started using mobiles, man there's some hick towns in America.
The Night of the Hunter Saw it on the big screen lat night. A bit ropey in places, very gothic and sinister. The ending was tamer than I remember it being though.
Yes indeed, with our friends in Great Witley to be precise but going into town for a meal this evening, few drinks and back to party.
