Just heard from a reliable source that Altidore has pulled out of a deal to buy a house in the Seaham/Murton area.
Read into it what you will but I have no reason to disbelieve the person that told me.
Could explain the Whickham recall etc....,,,

I'd **** us off as I was him as well. Best for all parties that he leaves. Leaves us to turn on the next player yet again.

come on Bri turn on a player, as far as im concerned im stating the obvious, hes crap had a lot of games and takes too long on the ball, cant control the ball with feet or head. The only point he has going for him is his size to intimidate, but hes falling over like a fairy, ive been patient up till the Kiddies game, when amature defenders kept getting the better of him, enough is enough. good riddance to him. We were butt ****ed on that deal, even Danny is a better forward than him, so where does that leave him.

Come on mate he's getting personal abuse from the terraces. We're all aware he been ****e mate. That's a given.

The minority did it to Danny Graham and Steve Bruce before that. I remember Jon Stead getting abuse too. You might think it's acceptable but I don't and I don't think I'm out of order for feeling this way.

TBF mate, a return of 1 league goal and 1 cup goal after a £6m outlay and top wages (for us anyway) and a performances like he gave on Saturday (not one shot in 90 minutes against a bunch of part timers was awful) means I would shed few tears if he was moved on.

We need some fresh options up front and that includes Fletcher. I'd drop him to the bench and play Borini (something I know you are keen on too) through the middle.

I watched him against the Kiddies and a ball came down, bounced off him as usual, it was then cleared by their defence, brought down on the chest by their centre forward, who controlled it before laying it off to one of his players, I remember thinking "which one plays in the PL"
That was the last straw for me, he's had his chance, the only worse CF that I can think of ever playing for us would be Lillian Laslandes, or the "Lion of Bordeaux" as he was known as before he came here, he was like a f##king ballet dancer.

His career is done with us fella. few would argue with that. Weather he could have forged are career or not (probably not) we'll never know as once that minority turns on someone there's never any going back.

The only point that I agree with you is about the abuse from the terraces, Dozy has had his chance and is useless, but when he wears the red and white strip on the pitch he has my support. I will slag him off on forums, and my god does he deserve it and I wish him gone. I have already said I do not rate Connor Wickham highly but we have to try him as Altidore is a fail. Mind Seb Larsson also needs to get his finger out, his best talent is crossing and deadball shots around the area, but even they have been very poor this season, I am not sure what has happened to him at all. Johnson who imho could have left seems to have found his game once more and is now getting all the support from the terraces. The secret is simple give us something to cheer about and we will cheer it.

Is it just me that thinks Ellis May have been an influence when signing this fella? If music is anything to go by, 'cracking the US' is a real money spinner. There has definitely been more interest in our club from America, even noted on here over the last couple of months.

As a striker, he's not cut out for the EPL, but as a marketing tool, he needs to improve quickly.

Was he abused from the terraces? I was at the Derby match when Gus recalled him and don't recall any abuse and don't recall anybody mentioning it. If he had been abused then It's bang out of order.

Yes mate, there were a few rumblings from around where i sit, but then again most of the ****ers whinge at everyone anyway, but there were definite shouts of abuse towards him.
Like i've said before on here, i'll voice my opinions on here but i've never shouted abuse or booed anyone apart for the entire Newcastle team and referees.

He hasn't been great but peoples reactions are pathetic. He's only had half a season in a team that don't create chances and doesn't support its strikers.

No support on the pitch, worse support off it.

You clearly haven't been reading my comments. I've stated nowhere I'm happy with his performances and stated multiple times he's poor and his career is as good as over.

Why do you people keep trying to put words in my mouth? I mean what I type. I don't like the way some of the minority in our ground treat some of the players. It applies to ANY player they abuse. This has been a problem long before Jozy and will go on when he's gone. Jozy is just a present example. read my posts before labelling me stubborn.

Difference is the majority turned on Bardsley for his twitter debacle... Maybe that's it... If we ALL slag Jozy from the terraces he'll become a better player. I have never turned on a player at a game. Yeah I think Altidore is ****e but he gets my full support when he's playing
