Benfica have apparently sold there 20 year old DM to an unnamed English club, believed to be us or Chelsea, for £16m (or more likely Euro).

To be honest, I'm glad we're not signing anyone, cost benefit analysis lead to more people we sign, the more Bic pens we end up using, they're bloody expensive!

Andre Gomes.
He has only played for Benfice 9 or 10 times, mainly as a sub. But he has had Matic in his position ahead of him and he is only 20.

Reported Benfica have agreed to sell Andre Gomes to Liverpool for £12.4 million. Reported as being a box to box midfielder with excellent technical ability.
Never heard of him, but even though we've made some dubious signings I'll trust the transfer committee. At least they've identified the position we need strengthening which is encouraging.
