Finally got round to watching Keane vs Vieira (very good by the way) and I really liked the part where they picked their best premiership 11 for their respective teams. Probably should put some limitations on it. You can't pick a great player if they didn't do anything for your team, eg as a Newcastle fan I can't pick Sol Campbell .... as much as I would like to as he was great at the London clubs. Also Liverpool couldn't pick Rush as he was at his best pre premier league years. Ideally, if you can be arsed, work out your best 11 as a forum and post them on here. If there is enough of a response we could try and compare teams and see where each clubs best 11 would rank in the league. I've got a feeling Manchester united will top it but Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Citeh (current team) and Newcastle could put in a good showing. If your team has been in the premiership but aren't now then feel free to join in, Leeds could make a good side I feel.

Stewed this over many a time. I take it you mean within our lifetimes? I mean the likes of Osgood and Cooke were before my time, but considered among the best Chelsea players to grace the Bridge. I usually change mine every time I do one due to how many great players we've been blessed with but here goes: Formation: 4-1-2-1-2 (Diamond I suppose) Cech Clarke - RB Desailly - CB JT - CB Cole - LB Makelele - DM Lampard - CM Gullit - CM Zola - AM Dixon - ST Drogba - ST Found it very hard to leave out Di Matteo, Wise, Hasselbaink, Spencer (childhood hero!), Carvalho, Gudjohnsen but this lot were the my favourite players to watch.
Schmeichel Neville Bruce/ Vidic Pallister/ Rio Irwin/ Evra Ronaldo/ Beckham Keane Scholes Giggs RvN/ RvP Rooney Couldnt split some here so thats it. Couple others who might have a claim too but might be a case of having to put others in to make them work ( Cole & Yorke as a duo for example ). In a few years time theres a few names I expect will have every chance of being mentioned in the greatest United 11 of the PL. De Gea being the main one, Mata could well put forward a claim. Seriously though, from the players United have had, you could make a load o these best 11 and each would be worth of the title.
Vorm (GK) Rangel (RWB) Caulker (CB) Williams (CB) Taylor (LWB) Britton (CM) Shelvey (CM) Routledge (RW) Sinclair (LW) Michu (AMC) Bony (FW) After thinking about it I couldn't find a place for Ben Davies, Chico, De Guzman, Hernandez and Dyer.
