However, ML is probably looking for somebody for the next few months whereas Huw is looking at next season and beyond. As regards for Bony, I thought I read on here that he wasn't a ML target.
When a manager is on his way out it becomes standard practice that the board take control of of the ins and outs of players.
I would be quite happy with just Ngog and Pilkington as the others are coming back from injury. Team spirit at this stage is far more important. Bringing loads of players in (especially at inflated January prices and wages) wouldn't help. Look what happened to QPR last year.
Look what happened to Derby years ago , brought in a half dozen players in the jan window and never won another game in their record breaking dismal season
We don't need to bring in a load of players , just have the ones we have back fully fit and and Pilkington and Ngog and we're fine .
We are once again being linked with a move for Tom Ince. He was left out of the Blackpool squad at the weekend. Promising or another false dawn
Surely the club will sell him now his dad is out of the picture, hopefully the board won't Taff about and make a firm offer ASAP
I think we do need a winger and a striker because Pablo is injury prone and Vazquez is not good enough! Leigh dineen has said on Twitter that he expects some fresh faces soon and is working hard on their targets.
I'd agree with that but Ince is out of contract in the summer so they surely want to cash in on what little money they can get.
Well sky are reporting it now. 19:36 Updating us on the latest at Swansea, Bryan Swanson tells us that they are still in talks with Blackpool over a possible deal for Tom Ince, while they are interested in signing David Ngog from Bolton.

Swansea are also interested in Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths who is a target for Wolves and Aston Villa. Not my error!!! And taken from the bottom of the daily fail article
It's on the BBC and sky as well as the daily fail. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25907989 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9135523/championship-blackpools-tom-ince-set-for-loan-switch-to-premier-league
To be realistic Tom Ince is going to talk to several clubs including us, he is plainly going to have some good offers, can we compete, I think not on our past record. We mustn't pay over the odds for an unknown quantity in the Premiership.
