Evening all. You lot fancy your chances against us in the FA Cup then? You seem to have developed a habit of battering us all over the park, but not winning, which is very decent of you. We have been gradually getting better, but are still some way off the solid team we'd like to be, as we can't seem to score enough to consistently get results. Much harder to beat these days though, but I'm not half glad we're the home side :)

Sunderland fans are starting to get my goat with their 'big club' attitude. If this continues expect repercussions of us saying you are as bad as West Ham fans.

Oh, and thanks for the annoying threat to those who haven't gone anywhere near your board. Hope we are out of sight by half time this game but knowing your manager we will have more injuries and an almost unwatchable game.

In answer to your question, yes, it's a winnable game for sure, but a lot harder with it being at your place and if your improvement continues. Have a feeling that some of our players will feel they owe you one though.

I think City players must feel the same. For some reason we keep beating them 1-0 at our place. Four years on the trot now. Must drive them mad...

Good job you didn't draw them at the Etihad then. <whistle>

I do think the home advantage that Sunderland will have will can be counter-balanced somewhat by the fact that the pressure will surely be on them to win, rather than us. A draw is a perfectly acceptable result for us. And in both league games so far this season, a draw is what we have achieved.

Like I say, the replay will most likely be just days before their league cup final. Anyone sent off or injured would miss their day out at Wembley. And then of course there's the fact that the replay would be on our patch. And I would back us to win at home.

Aye. Living in the SE I know a lot of West Ham fans and the twatting they got in the LC semi was a case of "there but for the grace of God..."

It'll be tight, because you have Poyet! Hopefully we will have learned our lesson from last game and finish you off this time. Don't mind if your midfielders stand off us again by about 5 yards.

I may be alone but I just don't see us winning. You're on a roll and Gus must surely be thinking how good it will look if you escape relegation and win two cups while you're doing it.

Gus reportedly not impressed with the lack of pressing in the recent Prem game. Can't not chase in important games and if it happens again you'll probably win by 3 or 4.

That's the worry for me, it won't happen again. This is a tough tie for us, on every level. The only consolation is, we must be dues a little luck against you lot.

All we need is to get the goals we deserve whilst we are on top...we don't score enough when we should. If we do, we will slaughter someone. Still waiting for that one :(

This game is sandwiched between Man City & Arsenal for Sunderland, if that takes Gus's eye off the ball, we shall win. UTS

Nope. The replay will be called off at halftime after the storm of the century renders the pitch unplayable. It will be the replay of that match that we'll win 1-0 on pens.

I shouldn't worry about her, she can fully fight her own corner!
