    You could still get away with some proper wumming back then too, but you had to be clever about it to get it past the mods. So even when you were pissed off at what was said you couldn't help but be impressed at how they had slipped it in.

    To be honest, I think both boards are a bit over sensitive now. That's not a dig at the current mods cos I think a lot of it is forum wide and probably related to worries about the forum being held responsible for things people say with the way the law has changed. I don't think it has helped either as it has just seen a drop in the amount of banter but not in the amount of insults. The problem for not606 is that when the interaction between different sets of fans stops then it is in danger of being just another club forum and probably most people are already members of single club forums anyway. Just my twopence worth!

    It was just the craic wasn't it. Someone would have a dig about Kevin Keegan or Alan Shearer, someone would nibble and it would just go on for days <laugh>

    Bless her, she's been so overwhelmed recently with the move to Manchester she's not had time to get herself back online... And before that I believe she had 100s of recipes to try out <laugh> One of them must have involved eyebrows as an ingredient (or else she just burned them off), because David hasn't had any in a while.
