I think every fan though, from every club, has the ability to moan about their players. Man Utd fans are doing it after 20 years of unbridled success? We do back our players when we see them trying or going through a bad time but with Jozy, I'm not even sure he is giving his all and trying hard. He was awful today against a non league team - not one shot at goal when we had 75% possession. Think we are entitled to have a go at him for that. Someone like BArdsley had a rough time but by his efforts and attitude he has won back those detractors. Jozy isn't doing that IMO. Out of interest, who was the player that perceived us to be so bad?
Therefore the onus is on the players to keep us off their backs. The crowd isn't going into the game saying right today I am going to target Altidore and Larsson. They are responding to what they are seeing on the pitch. Like Cest says we have cheered **** players just for the effort, it didn't make them better players mind.
well, i obviously don't see jozy week in week out like you do, i just though i'd offer you my opinion, but like i said... he didn't offer us much.. like i said i met him ( not that it means much on the field) he's a very nice guy and i fully believe he gives his all for sunderland but i just don't think he's good enough..
Mate, how many times have you been at the match & the very first stray pass is met with howls & whinging? Every ****ing match mate, every single one.
People were crying out for the ball not to be lumped up at him like a target man. He had 5 or 6 balls played to feet in the box today, and couldn't do anything with them. His chest for the Mavrias goal was put behind Mav who had to turn back hooked the ball controlled and shot very well. In stats that will probably go down as an assist and totally ignore the fact Mavrias made the best of a bad pass.
If it is a really **** pass loads, as I have heard exactly the same most grounds I have been too. And if it is by a player who does it so regularly that it gets wearing, even more. Especially if it is a couple of yards pass that a bairn could have made better. I used to hire singers and groups, if they got booed by the audience because they were **** I didn't blame the audience a paid off the turn.
I watched that and thought the same as I do now... He'll never score goals! How many chances did he have there and 3 were good chances
