No...the talk today seems much more about Ishak Belfodil. Now I cannot believe we are trying (hard) for both....so do we assume one is a smoke screen for the other. I am really confused by this all. We seem to be getting Rhodes, then we are not We had Taylor and it has all gone quiet I am worried
I can see us getting both someone else mentioned(Stan I think) that Belfodil would be a direct replacement for Chevvy which I also think will be the case. Leaving Ntep as more of a first team regular. If you look at the way he plays at first I thought of Adel but listening to our friend BKR I can see him more as a Townsend or Lennon type both of which Harry has a lot of time for, so I see this as our main purchase and forget about Rhodes or the like for now IMO.
Nice one. I also find it easier to whine about Krancjar frequently. But then the number of times I whine about Krancjar is more than the number of times so far he has deserved to be applauded. What surprises me is that you tolerate a lack of effort from him yet round on other players who have played far more consistently and to a higher level.
Please indicate where I have ever tolerated a lack of effort in any of our players, Krancjar included. Also, what players have I "rounded on" who've played consistently and to a higher level?

Back on topic... Reported that we have offered â¬4.5m for N'Tep but that Auxerre want â¬6m - so negotiations continue to the wire as you'd expect where Harry is involved. Good news is that apparently he is keen on joining us (even if it is for the money and attraction of London lifestyle) Let's hope it all comes off as he sounds like the sort of player we need.
I'm not sure I know what you're talking about. You can't be talking about Adel Taarabt? Are you telling me with a straight face that Taarabt performed consistently in the Premier League!!! In the words of John McEnroe: You cannot be serious. In a way I suppose you are right in that he did actually perform consistently in the PL: Consistently sh*t. I remember clearly after the 2-1 win over Fulham when having put in his first good performance in over a month, people on here were drooling over him as usual and I said lads wait until he's done it next week at Newcastle - and I think the next game was against West Brom - before you start blowing him off. I knew he couldn't even string two games together. And sure enough he was anonymous at Newkie and the game after that and the one after that etc. In fact, he didn't play a good game after that, as far as I can remember, until he had one good half against Fulham in the return fixture. I'm open to correction on that but to call him a consistently good performer for us in the PL is actually laughable mate. And I never got banned for talking about Adel Taarabt. Perhaps Imaz played consistently well for Rangers and I just never noticed it??? As for Kranjcar, I think he's done okay. Its totally not acceptable that he's overweight. Not acceptable at all. But he's no fatter than Taaratubby ever was with us. Despite that, his attitude is considerably better than your hero in that he's yet to publicly disrespect his Manager or his employers and by extension, the supporters. Nor does he try and beat players and lose the ball all the time rather than passing to a team mate. He is without doubt more of a team player. And despite what you've said, I honestly don't think he's not tried when he's played. In the woeful Forest game for example, he was the only up-field player who kept giving his all right to the very end. Nevertheless, the moment he starts behaving in a manner like Taarabt I'll lose all respect for him and will call for him to be dropped or kicked out the Club along with the rest of you. Also, if he starts to play sh*t every week then he should be dropped like a stone. At the moment, however, I think he's doing alright - despite a very poor return goal wise. P.S. I'm 99% certain our Manager would agree with every word I've just written

If 1 game in 4 where he actually does something (in the Championship not the PL) can be excused because he "keeps trying" and "passing to team mates" is debatable. What is laughable, I'm afraid is the way you exploded regularly at the adulation from some towards Taraabt and yet you seem to do exactly the same about Kranky when to date, he has nothing tot deserve that level of understanding.
