To learn how to handle a big wage contract instead of giving Rooney £300,000/week and a £1m mid-season holiday every year, or a 5 year contract to Nani
Of course it was done. I have no idea what Rodgers has been talking about. The deal sounded done last week.
PSG have made a of £14m for Cabaye. Obviously, it's been turned down immediately but should we be looking in or is he too attacking for what we need?
Live on ITV during his interview he just announced it was done. Dodged a bullet there, so I'm pleased.
Not what we want. No metal whatsoever, and get's frustrated and lashes out. Completely the wrong type of midfielder we need. HBA can **** off too
Newspaper reports claim that Liverpool are interested in signing Atletico Madrid's Saúl Niguez, known simply as Saúl. It is reported that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has met with the player's father Luis Antonio Niguez 'in secret' to discuss a potential switch to Anfield. It should be noted that Niguez senior has also met with Arsenal officials to discuss his son's future while Chelsea and Manchester United are also believed to be on the scene. Currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano, the Spain Under-21 international has so far failed to make an impact at Atletico but has proved at hit with minnows Rayo, who are second from botton in La Liga. It is mooted that his buy out clause is £20million but that a bid of around £12million could tempt Atletico in to selling.Opinion is split on him. He either seems to have a great game or a terrible game. He's not the finished product and right now we think most fans would agree that Liverpool need players who can step in right now. He's got the talent - and normally we'd welcome such a link - but we're desperate to see some players that are ready 'now' brought in. ???? lot of money for someone who may or may not be any good, and not the position we need help in either is it?
Someone says they drive a Vauxhall so better fan? I'm drinking Carlsburg, eating dunkin' donuts, and driving my Vauxhall that I imported all the way from Britain down the road whilst writing this on my Liverpool Football club edition smart phone. Oh- and I'm having a threesome with Rooney's wife and Jagielka's mum at the same time too (sticking my fingers up at our rival's players) #betterfanthanyou /bit cramped to be doing all this in this car.
Will we or won't we, that is the question. I think we should sign Pazzini just for his celebration lol.
I still think Salah's a good player and anything around 12mill would have been a great price for him. I also think that whilst we might have missed out (despite most here who seem to think we've dodged a bullet), it's a terrible decision for him personally for his career. He's good, but ahead of Hazard, Oscar or even Willian? Nope. Big move to a big team to sit on their bench for a year or two before being sent off on loan, lost in the reserves or sold at a cut price to a lower PL team. They just sold Mata ffs who couldn't get a game and he's not better than Mata! Really bad move for him, no idea who was advising him on that. I don't know why people keep moving to these big money teams like City, Chelsea or Real. Unless you're a big name, you don't play.
It just show's what type of motivation he has - MONEY. He would know full well he wouldn't get in the first 11 at Chelsea, and end up wasting time on the bench earning shed loads of cash. That says a lot about his character, which only adds to my opinion that we dodged a bullet
Watching St. Etienne x Bordeaux game and no Zouma in the back, not sure if injured, carded, or in London for Chelsea. Bordeaux a shadow of the team they were a few years ago. Sweet jerseys though.
Slightly political though wasn't it? Mata didn't track enough for Mourinho. If Salah works hard then he'd be selected ahead of Mata under Jose.
My theory is they get paid loads of money and put this before playing. Their agent's cut is also a larger amount so they are persuaded its a good career move as well. There again I could be just being cynical.
