From the lack of happiness on Raikkonens face, I'm guessing he doesn't like it either.

Well it seems none of the cars are going to be lookers!

At least for the first time in a few years they all look very different from each other.

Want a quick laugh? Watch the introduction Kimi gives included with the background music. It is like he is a news presenter.

When I this saw it I thought it looked awful. Now I think its improved to very bad.
It just looks plain bad, almost badly thought out. We'll have to see how it goes now.

Read something interesting earlier. Ferrari appear to have small sidepods, but they're running a water-air cooling system, which adds weight. Mclaren on the other hand have the bigger sidepods, but are using the more lightweight air-air cooling. Will be interesting to see which solution works better.

Ferrari's engine is 'suspected' by La Stampa to be a total of 810hp with Renault's official of 760hp so if we ignore the likelyhood of bias by the Fiat paper the Ferrari engine could have an actual total of 780hp.

There is bound to be some disparity between the engines this year. Good. There is suppose to be a difference, that's why F1 is all about having the best package overall. What's the point in the past for Renault, Ferrari, Merc, Cosworth etc all making their own engines only for them to be 'equalised'. May as well just give them all a stock engine and let them badge it for marketing purposes.

If we consider they're all probably going to look bad, this one is ok, I think I prefer to it the anteater

Another difference I just noticed is the amount of 'MGU-H' or 'Motor Generator Unit- Heat' the Renault engine will produce compared with the Ferrari. Ferrari's version will produce 12,000rpm as pointed out by Sauber's specs but Renault's engine can produce over 100,000rpm...

Now I wonder what Red Bull are up to. I sure hope Newey can't get away with a Gas turbine blowing diffuser...

Suggests a smaller, but higher speed unit from Renault. Has failure written all over it.

Looks like an attempt to get turbo blowing diffusers...
