Doesn't 't help the board when one of it's overseers and protectors starts threads entirely motivated to have a pathetic dig at other poster and antagonise them. Last night was an embarrassment of the highest order. It was on a par with the thread where I offered Dovers out for a square go. At least I had the decency to apologise the next day and admitted I was pissed up on booze when I posted such nonsense. I'll give this post 5 minutes and it'll be deleted.
Strange that the biggest drama and crap we get on here is always instigated and involves DMD. Don't hold your breath waiting for an apology from him either.
Seems a few people turned last night and can see what some of us "whine" about a lot in regards to him. Nice to see BRB make an appearance, he's a good mod.

Posts deleted, threads locked then deleted; if you think there was a poster about who was needlessly attacking another poster, you'd be right - thankfully there was a mod around to sort him out. . . . . . But wait, I know I am constantly told that there can be no confusion between the posts of a mod and the posts of a poster, but, unless another mod discreetly intervened, the troublesome poster and mod were one and the same; none other than the holier than thou, high and mighty Dutch Mountain Dog. Now the Dog may have had a canny night and maybe he canny recall his abuse of Brady, for all we know he might be lying low feeling a tad woof in his palatial kennel, but it is time to account for why he opened a thread which he then used to attack Brady over a point of syntax. He progressed the insult and then locked the thread when challenged by others, then he deleted it and then he proceeded to delete anything that questioned him. I am interested in his justification of this and I am interested in whether or not another mod was involved.
The thing that grated me most, was when I requested to Dutch that he move his inane ramble into a whining dullard thread he called himself a jockstrap or something instead. And to think Brady stuck up for him.... I canny believe the cheek of it.
I'm not saying I agree with your or others previous whines at all. The ones I've paid attention to, I think DMD has handled himself well against at times unreasonable and unfounded provocation, but last night he was out of order. Maybe he was drunk, who knows. It won't affect my opinions on future DMD related debates. I'll take each on their own merits. In general though, I'd rather both sides just shut up and let us discuss football.
I've had loads of posts deleted recently by DMD purely because he can. Saying that he reckons he 's received loads of complaints about me but when pressed about this he just started making stuff up and made himself look a fool. I asked him that when he recieves complaints to let me know and I'd review what was causing offence and act accordingly. I then suggested that if he didn't receive any complaints about my posts he was probably better off leaving them alone. Constructive advice which was met with 'I'll deal with it as I see fit". We've all seen what that means. Last night was a prime example of a mod getting it drasticaly wrong and overstepping the mark and showing to all that he doesn't possess the atributes to be a mod. It was childish, petulant, pathetic bullying of Brady. No more, no less.
I haven't read the usual drama queens version, but in short, I offered an opinion on a word used by another poster, and he got upset and took it personal and started posting it on other threads. I deleted my comments and the replies. No surprise the usual suspects try to blow it out of all proportion. The word in question was "canny" the one the geordies use for "good" but the poster that used it reckoned it was short for "can not not".
Quite predictable which posters would try to change the truth. Some seem to forget that there are other board users to consider, and petty spats get in their way so need pruning. I bet I prune more of my posts than I do anyone elses because I end up trying to correct comments like some of the ones on here.
Have you seen the title of this thread? There are lots of football threads go on them and let others get to the bottom of the abuse of moderation that took place last night.
Here we go again. I'd give it up as a bad job if I were you. Even posters who are normally on your side have said how out of order you was. If you can't handle your ale I'd stay off the shandy, you can have that advice for free. I'm assuming you were pissed because if you post and act like that when sober you're in need of help.

The moderation last night wasn't abused. If posts disrupt another topic, they're removed. That's all that happened. Someone got upset because I dared to have an opinion. For the sake of a quiet life I removed my opinion of that daft word.
