The **** him. Get him sold too. No time for people like him sparking mad fury saying **** on twitter like me jose and jonas next. well..... jose was always going to leave. We knew that ages ago.

If Barton wants to initiate civil unrest in our camp then he can leave too.

I wonder does he remember when we signed him, that his career was looking at its end. Nobody wanted him. No one. We put in a bid thinking with a bit of man management he could be huge. Looks like he thinks he is huge now and is throwing that back in our face. He clearly doesnt have a clue how fans feel and clearly doesnt look at what we discuss on various websites/forums.

We dont ask players to stay because of our owner, we ask players to stay with US, the fans. Now if he doesnt realise that. Then i think its time he either ended his career abroad or leave to someone else. Go to Everton, then we can all laugh when u end up back with your old mates and in prison within 6 months.


Edit - So Joey has tried to redeem himself on this matter. Only time will tell if he is still just stringin us along.
Maybe he and Nolan did just try to hold club for ransom, contract wise, and now he has realised the club are taking a no bullshit stance on the matter.

Once Cabaye and N'Zogbia settle in to the team, then I wouldn't mind him leaving as much.

Pretty much saying he's got no desire no leave the club and wants to stay until his contract expires and then re-evaluate. However, if things change between now and the start of the season and the club don't want him then he'd have to look at other offers. Doesn't want Nolan to leave. He hopes the club move's in the right direction. He came across very well.

 

Hang on it's Ashley the problem not Barton anyone would be disgruntled in an organisation if key members of a team left.

This wasnt out of nothing. If he wants to leave comments on twitter and then leave a hash tag of quote "#mejosejonasnext then he can leave quietly.
I just dont see how him giving his opinion on the matter by saying that he and 2 others will leave because of this helps. Why would be pour more misery on an already emotional problem. Nolan is gone, why pile more misery on us

 

Just wants the best for the club. Doesn't always express it correctly but happy to take the rough with smooth because he gives 110%, cares about the club and wants to win. Yeah he's a bit of a loose cannon but he's got nothing on these owners in this regard!

 

He got his point across much better than most (think the opposite of listening to a Steven Gerrard press conference). Said the right things but the bottom line was if the owners don't want him there then he's confident in his ability and would have to look at other options.
