  1. It is a discrace

  2. I'm very disappointed, but worse things could happen

  3. Its seems not bad business, due to Nolan Attributes

  4. Its a good deal!

Saw all the home and away games and Barton was immense, he led by example and gave nothing less than 100%.

He'll be a massive miss believe me. Whoever comes in isn't going to play for the shirt the way that Joey did.

    My opinion anyway.

No I wouldn't have. Was his leadership and dressing room influence worth £10m (£5m wages + £5m fee)? Not sure.

Unfortunately football isn't that simple. There are more ingriedients required to build a successful football team than just good players. Gardner is an average footballer for me and not fit to lace Bartons boots.

    Yes

    Barton - Tiote - Nolan

    -------Ben Arfa

    Striker--------Striker

Don't see why Cabaye gets a certain start considering he's done nothing to warrant it yet. Also it's irrelevant whether he started or not really, Tiote missed 8(?) games during Padrew's reign, added to JB probably getting a few suspensions and other injuries among the squad, he'd have started a fair few games

This is spot on, all this outrage for selling him, we're doing what's best for him and probably what he wants.

Seriously think leaving was his decision, he said himself he'll move on when he can no longer get in the team.

As for Joey? His 'the king is dead long live the king...etc' Tweet to me said we have to move on, he even put #thatsfootball at the end of it! Basically admitted he over reacted before.

Probably not, but he is a good squad player to have, the squad is not big enough and what happens if Ben Arfa's leg break again. Barton is spot on, sooner [NSFW]FCB[/NSFW] goes the better.

No width whatsoever, we're supposed to be playing 1 up top with Ben Arfa behind.

Also, what's Ben Arfa done to deserve a start? What've these 2 new strikers you name done to deserve a start? Don't be thick <ok>

I take it you agree with me since thats your only reply? A few others like 10 other players taylor and colo were immense so was enrique, simpson etc. Nolan got offered a new deal he refused it and he had 2 years left. I dont see the fuss and i dont think we will struggle without them. Nolans had his time with us and im grateful its time to move on he has no legs and he doesnt fit in our team with ben arfa back and cabaye in midfield. Nolan has suprised us all but it was his choice to leave, im sick of the mike ashley bitching seriously allowing nolan to leave is a good decision my heart wants him to stay but my head knows he has no place in our first 11

Agree with you mate 110% Ben Arfa would have started ahead of Nolan anyway. Chances are Nolan could have been a bit part player next year.

Remember the quote when pardew said Ben Arfa would play behind the striker? He also said he wanted 10-12 goals from him. Adds up really.

Yes I would sometimes. He was top scorer for good reason. A good squad is one with several options It's naive in the extreme to expect a foreign player like cabaye to come in and hit the ground running. It typically takes a season and a half. We have first hand experience of this with Solano and others, Colo, Jose, we've been here many times. Having both is the best situ and what a top club not only interested in money would do.

Both will be a MASSIVE miss.

We've just got to hope that the stature of this club can help us progress.

I'm sure Barton just said he couldn't think of an English midfielder playing better than him AT THAT TIME. When all others were failing, Joey was playing out of his skin.
