I am at a loss as to why STD rode him that way, I could be mistaken but I have never seen Ruby put him in front that far from home, especially after such a long time off. Surely he should have sat behind whatever took him to the last and then gone. I wrote in a previous post that I have always felt BB a horse that needs riding unlike Sprinter Sacre who of equal class could be ridden by anyone in any way with the same result.
Still has all his class. Was it fitness that found him out, or was it age? I don't know how I can take any of that form seriously with KB winning the race. Leaves the World Hurdle in a right puzzle.
