The air box entry on top of the head is also smaller.

aaaand that's the worst we've seen yet. Yuck.

It's novel though, and that I do like, really interesting to see all the different takes the teams have had, it's nice that there's that flexibility in the rules. The middle section of the front wing is interesting. Surely they're taking a pretty hefty hit in terms of drag and airflow under the car, in return for the bit extra the middle wing section provides?

I guess it looks ok from front-on, but every other angle is horrific. I thought Ferrari didn't make ugly cars?

I am guessing that they have something to hide with, what looks like a rear diffuser 'cover'?

Nah that always happens with every team.

    McLaren last year for example:

I think we will grow to ignore the squashed nose in time.

If that is the real sidepod radiator duct then yes it must be an amazing cooling job. There have been quite a few of the teams stating that cooling will be tricky and crytical, now Ferarri come out with what looks like smaller cooling capacity than last year! Plus as said the air inlet is smaller, so it's not like they are using that for additional cooling.
There are some very strange concepts coming out at the moment, it's going to be a great season. Now all I need to do is work out how to watch all the races live as I am not paying Sky massive amounts just to watch 10 races.

The whole thing looks a mess. It doesn't look fast and it certainly doesn't look pretty. McLaren's nose tip is so much lower then Ferrari's, couldn't they lop a couple of inches of penis off if it was the same height as the Ferrari?

I think we should wait and see what the other Ferrari powered teams inlets look like before we congratulate them too much on the cooling. The teams change their inlets from session to session based on the ambient temperature and the demands of the track, the size of the inlets is irrelevant in a studio, it's what they need on track that counts.

At first I was puking but I think I can get used to this quicker than the penis.

Also Alonso has got rid of the playing cards :(

Possibly one of the ugliest F1 cars of all time, though wonder what horrors are lurking at the other 2014 launches.

The 640 in my sig... That's how a Ferrari should look.

The ugly nose F1 era continues... Come on RBR and Merc. Save us from this scourge!

Surely they will lose crucial downforce compared to the others with the lack of air being forced underneath the car because of the lower nose?
