Hope they have contingency plans in place, all this publicity might create a bigger walk up than expected.

 

Chambers on the right wing is a terrible idea. Ward-Prowse can play there and has a much better delivery than Chambers. Guly is another option, he played on the right for us for half of the Championship.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what has been said on the OS, it leaves around 18 or so blocks closed? Strange decision closing so many with tickets selling so well, although I'm sure the club have a plan in place to open blocks if need be. Hopefully open the Kingsland corner to help the atmosphere, with Yeovil bringing over 3k.

 

Chambers started off in that position, with Chambers you get someone trying to beat the fullback whereas JWP will try to whip it in before getting anywhere near the fullback, horses for courses but I would asume that the Yeovil leftback is not all that so would let Chambers and Clyne work him over. Chambers used to get a few goals in that way with the youth and at International level

 

But isn't that our style of play? The full backs becoming wing backs when we are in possession? JWPs delivery from deep is becoming his hallmark albeit that he drifts in and out of form a bit. But it gives us good options.

Just caught up with Jesus Perez on Player talking about this game. When asked about the chance for glory that the FA Cup could offer Saints, he replied that the glory was playing nice football and pleasing the fans. Nice guy. Also added that they have watched Yeovil but tend to concentrate on Saints rather than the opponents. As he put it, the trouble starts if you ask the players to think too much

I can see problems today, tickets are apparently not on general sale, you have to book them in advance on-line and only then if you are on the data base, there are going to be some disappointed punters who aren't aware.

 

Franny Benali has tweeted that he's looking forward to being back and watching Saints at St. Mary's today.
