Slanging matches

I have recently noticed that the majority of posts recently are degenerating into slanging matches between posters. Whilst I admit there have been times when I have been a guilty party it seems to me that many threads are loosing relevance due to this. Perhaps we should all wind our necks in and try and get back to football and banter again.

 

Well said!! This forum is full of hypocrites who slag off CI- full of violent neanderthals who mostly manage to get along without resorting to cyber agression.
Yet on here posters talk to each other in a fashion that in the real world would surely lead to violence.
The posters on here are far more agressive than anywhere I've seen, they are so quick to take the piss. Now if it was done with humour then it would be fine. But it isnt. Each barbed comment comes delivered with angry spittal and the ferocity of a Charles Hawtrey nerd hiding behind his keyboard.
It seems to me that a lot of posters on here have no mates and dont know how to communicate in the real world. Its a shame because there are a few posters who actually provide us with important titbits facts rumours etc. Yet quite a few are just so programmed to respond with negativity and downright rudeness.
Its why I rarely post on here wading through all the oestrogen infected males trying to show the world they are real men.
Just wind it in and let this forum become the great place it should be?

my advice would be to ignore the children, carry posting 'honest' opinions and enjoy your dump whilst you do. remember, this is not real. it's a message board so just treat it as such!

 

Interesting, as soon as somebody post about idiot and inappropriate responses they get instant idiot replies. This board is full of stupid kids who fly into rages if they see something they don't agree with. As the OP said we have a few people who post good thoughts, but I guess they will soon be overwhelmed and become bored and stop posting.
This forum will then fold.
