The most wonderful love song ever written, and perhaps it's best performance.

I think rock's had its day- been absorbed into Mainstream Entertainment with Vernon Kay hosting.

It's a tough one for today's youngsters to suck up, but they'll have to face it.....the train pulled out the station many years go.

Just found this clip of Iggy Pop from 37 years ago- no idea where it's been till now.

We had TOTP back then and the occasional group on Magpie or Lift Off with Ayshea. Stranglers and Buzzcocks on TOTP in the safe studio - and that was it.

You see a clip like this and it would have been discussed for months if the BBC had transmitted it.......
