Where would you say Ntep's best position is BKR- is he more of a striker or a winger? Does he create many opportunities for his teammates to score goals, too?
You're welcome I think this is the best choice for him, he's so fast, strong and agile. He can progress one year in Championship, and, I hope, will be better in Premier league for the next season
He's left winger. Yes, he create many opportunities for his teammates, but this summer his friend Yaya Sanogo was sell to Arsenal and our striker this season are...not very well.. He can score goals, he can create his own opportunities, great player in fast break. you have not seen his videos on youtube ? EDIT : And for his weaknesses, he's not very well in defense, make lot of fouls. He can quickly get excited when his defender made many fools on him (sorry I don't know how I can translate this in good English :/).
We've seen a few videos, and think he looks a little like Adel Taarabt! Hopefully Auxerre can use the money from this sale to fix your striker problem I'm still a bit worried Arsenal might steal him though, some reports say they are close to a deal. [ http://www.tribalfootball.com/artic...ead-auxerre-striker-ntep-4003077#.UuK0xZtFDIU ] Does the French press think he might go to Arsenal?
This is a rumor, yes. Wenger says his not interested in Ntep. But yesterday they were Arsenal's recruiters to see him (he score one goal and make an assist), so I don't know.. Recently, in interviews Ntep says he doesn't wants to go in big club and stay on the bench, he wants to play a lot. Yes, he looks like Taarabt, a little, I think Ntep is maybe a little faster than Taarabt. I don't know if you know him, but he looks like Thauvin (Marseille )too, they play together in France.
Thanks sharing your knowledge BKR, its good to get some understanding of the type of player we might get from someone who has actually seen him play! Looks exciting, hope the transfer goes through. How did you find this QPR forum?
You're welcome, yes I saw every game of him in professional and some games with young teams in our club too. To me, he's one the best players we formed in the club. "Queens park rangers forum" on Google
It was only a tongue in cheek comment 9's! With a healthy dose of wishful thinking, and a side order of optimism. But, from what BKR says, he could be the real deal... From what he says, I'll be surprised and delighted if we do see him in Hoops this season. Thanks for the updates BKR!!
Get French Football ‏@GFN_France 41m Auxerre President Guy Cortet announces that Paul Georges Ntep's agent says his client 'only wants to join QPR'. #AJA #QPR Thanks again BRK, i'll watch some Thauvin videos now!
BKR I hope we can invite you to London to watch Ntep...he looks very exciting. I hope he is everything we both hope
Anyway, if you want the article of today about Ntep it's here : http://www.lyonne.fr/yonne/actualit...ut-rejoindre-queens-park-rangers_1847652.html (local newpaper). I add that Ntep AND his agent (that's important) want to go to (it's write to, in or at? I forget all the time) QPR. If you want details ask me I'll try to answer you.
Haha, it could be great http://www.lyonne.fr/yonne/actualit...ut-rejoindre-queens-park-rangers_1847652.html that's an article from today about Ntep (local newspaper) Ntep doesn't play for money, with us he earn "only" 6500€ per month (£5388) and decline this summer a BIG offer from Saudi Arabia. He's a very good person (AJ Auxerre is a "family club" we can speak with players very easily). He give the best of him in every game. If you have some questions about him, requests them.
Do you know if he speaks any English? We used to have a big French speaking group - Cisse, Remy, Mbia, Taarabt, Samba Diakite, Chris Samba.......now we only have Diakite and he never plays, though if we are promoted there is a chance we will get Remy and Taarabt back. Our coach is unlikely to speak much French........
Hum, I think he doesn't speak any English, he can speak like me for example (thank's school), on Facebook he likes write in english, that's may be a sign ahah.
Thanks BKR, I have a few: How do you think Ntep would deal with the physical nature of the English league? Remy seems to enjoy it, hopefully they're similar! Also, it sounds like Paul-Georges has been scoring lot of goals recently. Have you noticed improvements in his game this season, that have led to him being your highest scorer?
In Ligue 2 in France it's physical too, less than English League for sure, he's "only" 1m79/80 but he can dribble anyone, he can run on the wing and cross, or score like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgeWBco5DcY). In "mix" on youtube I think we can see his strenght. I have pics of him if you want. (that's not very useful I know Others here : http://www.ajaphotos.net/index.php/search/1110
