Good point though...if they are all we've got, then we need to support them and no sighing or moans. They both have good games in them,,,personally I want those games to be Fulham and Stoke...these games are the ones most likely to get us points.
José Fonte: "Appreciate everyone's concern and support but it takes a lot more than a bruised eye to stop me! Ready for tomorrow COYS"
Bracing myself for a lynching here but I can't be the only one thinking it's nowhere as bad as was made out?
Jose and Dejan are bezzies at the club - as revealed in yesterday's #askdejan session on Twitter (the other notable thing was Dejan saying the he feels very loved at Southampton) - that makes me happy to hear in a CD partnership.
Perhaps. Certainly not as bad as the press made out. This was early in week though, not yesterday, and the resulting bruises may not be indicative of the violence of the attack, only it's ineffectiveness.
Yeah. Obviously still it's something Osvaldo should never have done, and he's still clearly a dickhead, but based on that it doesn't look like a savage mauling.
The whole "bloodbath" thing was ridiculous. Jose's nose was smacked out of line by the headbutt and his eye had swollen up from the punch.
Stumbled across this when trying to find Fonte news earlier...
Thank goodness, it is always panic stations when any blood is spilt, usually looks worse than it actually is.
Obvious the press hyped it up a lot, who remembers the crisis we had? Still not on to do stuff like that and will be glad when Osvaldo goes.
He's always had a wonky nose....thought he could take the chance on having plastic surgery and charge it to Dani
Well, I think it's a different approach to their last advert with Lenny Henry. Premier Inn must be trying to appeal to the younger generation now.
