He's more of a playmaker mate. Fantastic player and I would have thought clubs a lot bigger than us would be in for him. Definitely an improvement on what we have. My concern with Banega is, he seems to be one of these people who always seems to get caught up in the party culture and bad behaviour.
Would be nice to have him in midfield vs. the barcodes. He is long established as good midfielder for a number of years. I would be amazed if we got him, but maybe in a world cup year and team that he would play every week for is a major draw. Would we be trying to sign him if we didn't beat Utd? Interesting times................. Banega and Ki in central midfield. We would be able to pass a ball for sure. I think if we stay up Poyet will have a very strong line up for us next season.
This would be an immense signing, and one that makes a HUGE amount of sense. Ever is a ridiculous passer of the ball, short & long, at his best sitting deep which would give the option for Ki to move forward and give tremendous balance to the midfield. Typically Argentine, never flustered on the ball, and fiesty, not scared of a tackle or shot either (although he doesn't score, ever...). This would be a tremendous signing, although fee & wages would be pretty big I'd imagine.

Actually mate, they have done a deal with a bank to offset the debts for the new stadium against the incredibly valuable land that the Mestalla stands on, so as such the stadium is getting done gratis! They will need to sell though, as they have no CL income likely.
