What do people make of Big Bucks tomorrow at 5-6? I know there's risk attached returning from a year off but if he is what he was he ain't getting beat in that field. I reckon the Nicholls camp would only run if they were very happy with him which makes me think he's still got it. I can obviously understand the opposite view that taking odds on for a horse not seen for a year is crazy but it's Big Buck we're talking about!
I wont be playing on the great horse at those odds Beefy... Its a sit back and watch one of our present greats to me. I just hope he hasn't lost anything of that magnificent running stride that he has... One of my favs, but then again he is prob a fav of a lot of racing fans... From a racecard point of view I can only see RdS giving him any trouble...
Got a bit of a later start today so I can watch a bit more racing than I thought... Initial likes are... Donny... 1.10 - Easydoesit, 15/2 1.40 - Area 51, 7/4 2.10 - Up To Something, 13/8 2.45 - Minella Definitely, 13/2 3.15 - Tornado Bob, 3/1 3.50 - Cresent Beach, 12/1 4.20 - Jimmy The Jetplane, 16/1 Hunters... 12.50 - Waldorf Salad, 13/2 1.20 - Hollow Blue Sky, 13/8 1.50 - Anton Chigurh, 4/1 2.20 - Loose Chips, 11/10 2.55 - Seven Woods, 11/2 3.25 - Moonlight Maggie, 11/4 4.00 - Midnight Maggie, 11/4 Off to have a bite to eat and then settle down for a bit of racing... Nowt gone on any of em at the mo, but I will have a flutter as the day passes us by...
Can see what you mean Red and I'm unlikely to back any myself tbh but he's going to be odds against tomorrow, based on his current redness on oddschecker, and crikey when have we ever seen that? As you say on form he's a cert and assuming the stable know where they are with him and I'm trusting that Mr Nicholls ain't putting us away with his bullish reports, at the likely prices I can see some big hitters piling in. Is Barney Curley about
Cream of Tomato soup with a cheese sandwich... Deelish, and has set me up for the day... First things first, Waldorf Salad came in at 7/1 and I didn't put a penny on it as I was having my lunch... Lets hope I can score elsewhere then...
Waldorf Salad after the event I know!! Fruit Pastille 130 Lexis hero 200 Roys Legacy 230 Burning blaze 305
BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM many congratulations Noel Fehily on his first century. Over the moon for him. Top top jock!
Well done with the winner! I thought Fehily was going to be a replacement for Ruby Walsh actually and I think he is a stylish jockey not too dis similar to the great man! Fehily could have a good Saturday. He's on Gullinbursti in the Sky Bet Chase. Although looking at Saturdays racing, Nicholls could have an even better day and an across the cards treble - Big Bucks, Rocky Creek and Unioniste! I wouldnt be surprised to see that at all! I wonder what price that treble?
