You still don't get it Carmine, you assume everyone is anonymous and on here that is probably true as its a modern football messageboard with a large readership. CI was a tighter more intimate network where most posters actually knew who other posters were in real life as they were all graduates of the Kempton Alumni (1970's-1990's).
I can't speak for CI but I could be stood next to any poster on this board and wouldn't have the faintest that they were a poster on this board. Apart from a couple of whom I've had a bevvy with at the odd game and they were a pair of bellends to be honest( only joking). I can see what you 're saying if you all know each other but giving it large( not aimed at you) on a football forum about 'our forums harder than yours' (and yes there are several on here who spout that whiney dullard kind of nonsense) is a bit sad. I wonder if F Troop have a cyber section these days?
I know only a couple of other CI users and I never once went in the Kempton but don't let that stop your rabid stereotyping, eh. The funny thing is I see people accusing CI users of being aggressive, abusive, and so on, but all I see on here is a group of people looking down their ****ing noses at a different group of City fans and being openly - well, abusive! Rank hypocrisy at its most obvious.
Have you gone mad? Mini golf? Southend? We both know the only manly way to solve any issues such as these A dance off at Fuel. As usual. I baggsy the podium near the DJ booth this time. Let's do it bitch. If you ask Suitedandbooted he'll get you on the guest list, he's sooooooo 'in' with Alphonse if you know I mean? The slut.
I probably know most of the Kempton Regulars on CI in rl, but they cone across as a right bunch of fairies on their board. Having said that, I think this board has been better in the last few days for their presence. Now if we can just get them out of the Queen's car park to a proper venue like Linnet's car park, we could all settle our differences and move on. I'll even bring my chocolate fingers!
Carmine, I think you're right, a dance off does sound a wonderful idea. They're gonna get served if they're man enough to step up to the challenge. We can taunt them with chants like 'dance off pants off'. I still want the round of crazy golf though.
I think you'll find most of us have deserted Queens and now spend most of our time at Polar Bear since Maysey got it.
1) I don't drink. 2) I am in the ambivalent camp. When Dr Allam sells up, Hull Targers, Hull Vikings or whatever it becomes will revert back to Hull City anyway. Whilst the club are in the Premiership I pick my games anyway even though I am a passholder. By the way, i generally avoid the financial pigs and prefer those Premiership games of a competitive nature. 3) ".....orgy of racism, antisemitism......." - When was the last time you actually judged the Football Board for yourself, rather than sponging up the opinions of others? 4) I think the two Ians are more of a Hull City fan than any of the Sheff Wednesday supporting owners of this board......
Oh yeah and as regards the two pubs mentioned, I have never set foot in Silver Cod (no reason, just never have) and although I do occasionally frequent Admiral, I never do so on a match day. So ner-ner-na-ner-ner.
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/209943-So-Long-amp-Thanks-For-All-The-Fish!! "For those who know me, I ll be down at Ferriby and York for most of our games next season. Then back to real football again in 12 months time. And as Douglas Adams created, I say to you all: [as above]" Pathetic. No conviction whatsoever mussy. Very disappointed in you.
