Whitts will have forgotten how to take them by the time we get a penalty. Penalties stopped overnight as soon as MM took over the helm. Under DJ we seemed to get one on a weekly basis.

with OGS being more attack minded and Noone and Bellamy running at defenders, the liklihood will go up. Just need Noone and Mutch to stop wasting opportunities to get into the box with those long range shots they take. I mean, that shot from Noone against Newcastle, if it wans't for that net thing stopping the ball it would have gone miles.

I understand that both Sunderland and Utd are running courses in penalty taking :)

Betting suspended on Zaha so that looks a done deal. Must say considering how much he cost Utd the fact that we could get him on loan in front of other prem clubs shows how far we have come.

Hardly a regular for Wigan - 17 games since 2012. No mention on Wiki of an injury. Have to trust Ole's judgement if correct. Being signed as a backup I guess if Hudson goes to Palarse.

We're going to play with 11 midfielders at this rate.

Swansea have Spain, we have Norway. Not sure it's healthy for either club.

I know Ole wants to get some players in that he knows and trusts, but he may be putting all his eggs in one basket. I know Moody may have got things wrong, but the guy Ole has brought in as a scout will have been shopping at a different store. I wonder how long it will take him to build his network at Harrods as opposed to Lidl and Aldi. A manager from a lower league is one thing, a scout is something totally different.

Ole has played in the premier league and knows the standard so I am confident he has brought in solid players that he knows can play the way he wants our team to play. It is also clear that agents and players here are demanding too much and the transfer fees are too high, there is no reason for us to spend big if we can pick up a few bargains.

It is not as if we do not have quality in the main, we are getting three Norwegian players to create chances and make us a more solid outfit.

If one of these players turns out to be a star we will have done well.

Another Norwegian midfielder? Anyone else starting to get a bit concerned that all the transfer money so far is going to Ole's old club?

    FACT!

If they are that good, there's going to be a big hole in the Molde midfield that will take some filling.

So, Eikrem as competiotion for Whitts, this guy as competition for Mutch (or will he play further forward) and Daehli as 'one for the future'?

Are they really that good or is OGS clutching at straws or planning for the future? It's going to be hard to integrate all these players in a short space of time especially if we get Fabio, Zaha and A.N. Other striker. It's also going to put a strain on the wage bill. We need a few going out pronto.

Everything is under control here, it is obvious Ole is picking the players not Tan.

There is no strain on the wage bill as Tan will be paying that.

I am certain Ole knows far more about football than any fan on this forum or any other forum and if he thinks these players are good enough then so do I.

Ole has been left in this mess and it might take till the end of the season for him to get us out of it, now is the time to show some faith and give him the remainder of the games to do the job. Tan has got us an attack minded manager and given him funds in this window to strengthen, he can do no more.

I do not believe we are one of the three worst teams in this league.
