And this time, I actually this English player is worth the fee. Shaw is an incredible talent and it's frighting that he is still only 18 years old.

    Goal Keepers:

Sczezney has been arguably the best keeper in the league this Season and he's only going to get better.
Fabianski though is a liability. For me he is not an EPL quality keeper. So what if he's a good athletic shot-stopper? He's diminutive, makes an insane amount of errors and does not command the box with authority. For me he's well below the quality required.

    Defence:

Quality all round. Left backs are both top class, Sagna is a beast and Jenkinson has the potential to become 'world class' IMO.
We have THREE quality centre backs. IMO we should sign a fourth as this could become a problem if injuries kick in.

    Midfield:

Best in the league. Ozil and Carzorla are World Class and Wilshere and Ramsey have the potential to reach that level. Rosicky Arteta and Flamini are TOP quality.

    Forwards:

We have more than enough options when if comes to the wide areas but for me another CF is needed to take some of the pressure off Giroud.
I would love Wenger to sign someone who could complement the Frenchman when we need a goal. Either an out and out goal poacher or a versatile mobile forward who can also play as a no.10

Also for me Bendtner has fluffed too many chances to make it at Arsenal and should be moved on.

Hmm. We could have scored a couple more but City missed a number of gilt-edged opportunities. Regardless, I agree about City playing at the top of their game whereas we're yet to peak. Not sure I agree about Chelsea mind, think they're ticking along in second or third gear and I'm almost finding myself more concerned about them than I am about City!

Regarding Shaw I do think he looks the business. Very steady head on him, great cross and yet, despite being built like Rooney, he's still very quick.

Better going forward than back maybe. I think it is easy to look good in a club that isn't top 4. Felliaini is a case in point. I am a terrible judge of players though... for the most part.

Shaw is going to be TOP quality but we don't need another LB.
