@ScarbsF1: F1 2015 rules will prevent stepped chassis/front bulkhead interface as is appearing on the new 2014 cars Another technical issue they already changing for next year? @ScarbsF1: F1 2015 new rules prohibit tyre heating devices Just in time for JB to retire, lol.
Quite nice, certainly makes him more recognisable from Lewis. I'm a little surprised he didn't incorporate his number into the design though.
The "Nico" logo on there he's had for a while, and kind of incorporates the number 8, so I'm surprised he didn't go for it. He beat Grosjean so would have had first dibs.
Jon Noble ‏@NobleF1 4m Eric Boullier set for McLaren after stepping down from team. Gerard Lopez to be new Lotus boss. Full story soon -Not sure how I feel about that...

In other news Dispute Turbo With or without protective cover - translate The season has not started yet, as the three engine manufacturers are fighting for rule definitions. Must the turbochargers are provided with a protective device or not? Mercedes and Renault say yes, no Ferrari. This is about three to four kilograms, which wants to save Ferrari. More weight/safety/gossip chat...
If Lotus lose many more personnel the drivers will have to service their own cars at pitstops. Strange move by McLaren, not sure what they think Boullier will bring that Whitmarsh didn't. This will surely be Button's last season at McLaren, he had a very good relationship with Whitmarsh, Boullier will be trying to get Grosjean in there, they're reportedly still after Alonso, if he loses to Magnussen next year he won't be able to hang onto his drive.
May explain partly why Ferrari thought they had a lightweight engine if they were leaving bits off it!
If it's for safety and reliability I doubt Ferrari will be allowed to get away with that by the FIA because nobody wants to have another Massa incident when a piece of turbocharger smashes into their head...
Lol Renault will play a video for the FIA? They didn't interpret the rules properly, now they are resorting to scaremongering.
