I fancy myself as a bit of a 'domestic scientist' and wanted to share my latest findings with you all. It's reckoned that if you drop a bit of toast on the floor, the buttered side will always be on the bottom - Murphy's Law if you will - so I needed to test this theory for myself. To complicate things further, I wanted to integrate another experiment into the aforementioned one. Again 'they' say that a cat will always land on it's feet wherever it's dropped from. To this end, I borrowed next-door's cat (as I don't own one) and glued a bit of buttered toast to it's back (butter side up). I then proceeded to throw next-door's cat out of a first-floor window... The result? Next door called the Police & RSPCA Honestly, some people just don't want to advance with science, they'd rather stay blinkered and deluded by religion.
