Following on from a post made by Hawkings on the FIFA thread about how his dad used various condiments to explain the off side law! It just got me thinking about my favourite condiments and the one that I would take with me if I was marooned on a desert Island!

Now I love Ketchup, I love HP, I love Mayo, I love Mustard and I'm partial to a big crack of black pepper but the one condiment that I love above all else just has to be Branston Pickle! I wouldn't have it with Chips but for most dishes a dollop of Branston just goes down a treat.

Just as bit of fun what is your most favourite condiment?

Use vinegar that you've pickled some onions in and it's pretty close to chippy vinegar.

I am partial to a little horse radish.

I just brought some HP sauce............4p a week for 36weeks

Stokes sauces are fantastic, especially the Chilli Ketchup.

Just goes to prove that good things CAN come out of Suffolk! :emoticon-0105-wink:

Branston Pickle is still made in Bury St Edmunds I believe. <ok> So you're right Gandy, there are some great things made in Suffolk! The only downside is that my favourite Mustard is made in Norfolk!

Has to be Heinz ketchup, chip shop vinegar comes close.
    Crystal sea salt.
If I'm to become an honorary Mexican it may have to change to Tapatio, a brand of hot sauce. The lads I work with put it on everything. In their soup, on pizza, in a bag of crisps (regardless what flavour) with squeezed lemon juice, literally everything.

Not wishing to be pedantic, surely half the things mentioned are not condiments?

I would hardly call branston a seasoning ?

& to even obliquely refer to the stuff made north of the boarder is just to much.....

anyway it has to be lea & Perrins worcester saurce

    :)
